Este libro trata del tercer As alemán en número de victorias. Da una gran visión global de todo el conflito en el aire y se parece a la biografía de otros ases de la Luftwaffe, pero la parte más interesante es al acabar la guerra como cuenta que fue de cada piloto y de como muchos se reengancharon a la nueva Luftwaffe de la RFA. El contacto que tuvo con otros grandes aviadores de la Luftwaffe hace que cuente muchas historias de ello y lo hace muy interesante. Es muy crítico con la Alemania de aquella época y cuenta las cosas muy claras.
Es un buen libro y merece la pena leerlo sin duda.
